IT'S A CELEBRATION
We are so excited for you to join us in Italy. Here's what you need to know about travel, accommodations, and the wedding day.
GETTING TO THE WEDDING
We recommend you fly into Milan, Italy. From there, you can take a 2-hour train to Varenna, Italy. If you have accommodations in our hotel, Hotel Villa Cipressi, the train stop will be close by. The wedding ceremony will take place across the lake at Villa del Balbianello, and the reception will take place at Hotel Villa Cipressi. We will provide transportation by boat to and from the ceremony.
ACCOMODATIONS
We have reserved a limited number of rooms at a discounted price at our reception venue, Hotel Villa Cipressi. You can reserve a room on the RSVP form.

If you decide not to stay with us, there are a number of AirBnbs and small hotels in the area. We recommend staying in the town of Varenna.
ATTIRE
The dress occasion is cocktail or formal. We recommend the following color schemes: earth tones, tans, nudes, soft blues, and other pastels.
Please note that there will be some walking to and from the boats, so please wear comfortable shoes.

We will meet at the docks near Villa Cipressi fifteen minutes prior to departure. Please check back closer to the wedding date for more information.
Ceremony

Join us for our ceremony at Villa del Balbianello.

After the ceremony, we will enjoy a traditional Italian aperitivo with drinks and finger foods on the grounds of Villa del Balbianello. During this time, we hope you take the opportunity to explore the historic grounds which are a museum and garden by day.
Boat Departs to Varenna

Meet us back at the docks fifteen minutes prior to departure. We will cruise back to the town of Varenna, where the reception will be held at Hotel Villa Cipressi.

Dance, play games, mingle, and take photos as we celebrate til the night ends.
